This session is a fusion of reiki and sound bath, bringing together two practices that are intended to promote rest and encourage the body’s natural healing ability.

A sound bath is a form of sound meditation which uses crystal bowls and Tibetan singing bowls to create soothing sounds to activate the parasympathetic nervous system and put your body into a state of ‘rest and digest’.

Led by the sounds of drums, singing bowls and chimes, we’ll float away into a meditative state, providing an ideal environment to de-stress, disconnect from the world around you and your daily life, carving out space for you to focus on yourself.

We’ll begin with a brief explanation of what to expect in the session and an explanation of the instruments that will be used and of reiki. Following that, you’ll make yourself comfortable on your yoga mat with any pillows and blankets you’ve brought and you’ll be given a moment to silently set your own intention for the session.

During the session time, Matt will move around the space, playing instruments over and around you to deepen the experience as Sally visits each person individually, channeling reiki energy for those who want to receive.
