A Japanese car show is set to be held at Withernsea South Promenade, with up to 100 vehicles on display.
It is the first time “Fuji Fest” has been planned and will be hosted by the Hull-based group Team Fuji Car Club. The club has been on the go for 11 years, and is home to avid car enthusiasts, who own some impressive vehicles.
The charity event is scheduled for Sunday, April 30 from 9am until 4pm, and is open to the public free of charge. However, if you wish to bring along a Japanese car to display, you can buy a ticket for £5 via the club’s Facebook page.

The event is being held to raise money for the RNLI, which admin of Team Fuji, Craig Mars, said was to honour the “unsung hero” volunteers. The Bank Holiday weekend event is for everyone to enjoy, and the admins are hoping for nice weather to make the day even more special.
Team Fuji said: “The show will be open to the public to come see some of Yorkshire’s finest Japanese cars and vehicles on display along with taking in the sights of the East Yorkshire Coast. Tickets for drivers to display their vehicles will be on sale very shortly at a price no more than a days parking at the beach!”
