Hull FC expecting bumper crowd for Castleford opener as popular offer extended

The Black and Whites will have a comfortable five-figure attendance for their first game of 2023.

Hull FC have extended the deadline for their members double ticket offer until 4pm this Monday afternoon with the Black and Whites kicking off their Super League season on Sunday week.

Current members can purchase two extra tickets for £10 with the club expecting a big crowd for Tony Smith’s first competitive match in charge. After a tough couple of years, there is a feel-good factor around Hull again with fans in an upbeat mood for the start of the season as the new era gets underway against Lee Radford’s Castleford Tigers.

A bumper crowd is expected for the fixture, with at least 12,000 fans in attendance. Hull announced 7,500 members last week with a strong following also expected from West Yorkshire.

The club confirmed that the East Unreserved area of the ground sold out within a couple of days whilst the South and West stands continue to fill fast with family sections still available to purchase.

Hull FC fans can also sit in the North Stand for the first time with the away section now in the North-East corner.

Members double tickets are available to purchase in both retail stores, online, and over the phone, as are general tickets for the match. The Castleford opener kicks off at 3pm on Sunday 19 February.
