The comedy legend is now a popular DJ and is heading for the Avenues
Comedy legend Paul Chuckle is set to perform a DJ set at a Hull nightclub.
Paul, one half of the much-loved Chuckle Brothers, will be performing at The Piper on Friday, April 7. While these club appearances were once shared with his late brother Barry, Paul now flies the ChuckleVision flag solo, entertaining clubbers up and down the country.
Paul Chuckle has achieved national treasure status following a career that spans decades. Now, the legendary entertainer is steering towards a different type of entertainment, hitting the turntables in clubs with his dance, pop and commercial music sets as a DJ.
Paul will be performing at The Piper on Newland Avenue as part of their GET LOOSE nights, which are hosted every Friday. This means revellers will be able to grab a range of £1 drinks while watching Paul’s DJ set. Paul, who described one recent set as ‘banging’ says he feels “like I’m at home” behind the DJ decks.
Customers can get Smirnoff Red Vodka, Captain Morgan’s Spiced Rum, and Gordons Gin, all served with a mixer for only £1 before midnight. After 12am, the price of these drinks will rise to £2.
The event at The Piper promises to be a memorable evening, with one of the country’s most-loved comedians taking to the stage to spin the turntables. Surely, you’re not going to miss a chance to see a Chuckle Brother live on stage, are you?
Paul Chuckle will perform at The Piper on Friday, April 7. Tickets for the event are not yet available, but interested clubbers are encouraged to keep checking The Piper’s website for details.
