The new-look lido has opened at Albert Avenue Pools, following a major refurbishment of the west Hull leisure centre.
We’ve been taking a first look around the complex this morning ahead of its reopening to the public at 9..30am today (Friday).
And as our pictures show, the centre has been transformed! Hull City Council has spent around £11m on the upgrade, which includes work on the indoor pool. Historical features have also been restored.

The new heated lido will bring back fond memories for many in the area, harking back to halcyon days of the Albert Avenue Pools when the outdoor pool was a popular attraction.
Work on the pools began back in February last year. A new large gym and fitness studio, which will offer aerobic classes for the first time, has also been part of the major facelift.
