The Glowflare Short Film Festival is set to make its debut on January 25, 2025, at Parkway Cinemas in Beverley, East Yorkshire. Film enthusiasts are invited to attend this one-day event celebrating submissions from various creatives of short films, with a lineup of screenings, interactive Q&A sessions with filmmakers, and an awards ceremony recognising standout talents.
Festival Highlights and Ticketing
Tickets are now available, priced at £20 per person, granting full access to all six screening sessions. Each session offers a unique selection of films across diverse genres and styles, with live Q&A discussions with filmmakers following select screenings. The festival concludes with an awards presentation, honouring achievements in categories like Best Film, Best Director, and Audience Choice. Film Submission Process
The festival remains open for submissions until December 13, 2024. Eligible films must be under 40 minutes, with non-English submissions requiring subtitles or dubbing. Categories include Animation, Documentary, Experimental, General, Music Video, and Narrative, celebrating a wide range of storytelling styles and techniques. Entry fees are adjusted by deadline, with student and FilmFreeway Gold member discounts available.
