It’s common for every generation to think they had the best toys when they were growing up. But some would argue the 90s and 00s kids really did.
It was that strange in-between period where we had all the old school toys available but technology was really starting to advance, so we got to be the first to test out a whole range of gadgets.
When Christmas rolled around, we had to put some serious thought into what we wanted because there was simply too much to choose from – and a lot of it was pretty pricey.
We would spend hours circling what we wanted in the Argos catalogue for our parents, or tug on their arms whilst pointing out what we wanted in Toys ‘R Us.
